In the heart of the mist-covered mountains lay HoodTown - a picturesque independent town reservation with it's own laws, nestled within the safety of a ⚡30-foot high electric fence⚡. This boundary was not merely to enclose the town, but to shield its residents from the dangers that lurked beyond in the wilderness.
Inside the protective barrier, life flourished in a harmonious blend of old-world charm and modern innovation. The only entrance to HoodTown was a treacherous path that wound its way through the dense forest, leading to a river teeming with ferocious rapids, before having a small window to safely get ashore on the banks of North Gate. At the entrance of the river awaited a swirling whirlpool ☠️ deathtrap, a natural guard that threatened to swallow whole anyone who dared to underestimate its power.
Every corner of HoodTown whispered of perfection - from the quaint cobblestone streets lined with vintage shops, to the towering watch towers with magnificent views. The town was a living canvas, where the past intertwined seamlessly with the present to create a tapestry of uniqueness.
The population of HoodTown stood at 763, a tight-knit community that shared both laughter and tears. The governing body consisted of 15 to 18 elected officials, each representing the houses of 6 suburbs.
Due to an existing peculiar law, these officials were granted the power of vote based on land ownership within the majority sector. This mostly forgotten law, passed down through generations, was seldomly invoked but was now being utilized, due to the disingenuous tactics of entrepreneur outsiders, securing enough real estate within each sector to, positioning themselves to vote for specifice changes to the current local laws.
Justice had historically been swift and severe since the Witch Trial era. Another peculiar ignored law that didn't change with the times. The capital punishment law decreed public execution by hanging or jailor execution for those who dared to disrupt the peace of the town. This stringent law had acted as a deterrent, ensuring that order prevailed within the town's borders back in the day, but was never used in recent times.
And so, within the protective embrace of the electric fence, the residents of HoodTown carry on with their lives, cherishing the tranquility and safety their town provided hopeful that this new money outsider crew embrace and love the HoodTown beauty and culture such as the original descendants do. But if they don't, the originals knew that as long as they stood together, no threat from within or without could ever shatter the bond that held them as one.
